Spot On Fire Eyes is one of the last remaining direct daughter’s of the USA import, Peter Ehlrich. We are honoured to have her coming back home again. “Fire” has not produced many foals to date, however, her one son, Bitoubrook Jamaican Spice is excelling in open eventing and dressage – he is proving to be a true ambassador for the Appaloosa breed in South Africa. “Fire” is currently in foal to Lulus Jetstream, due August 2018

Spot On Fire Eyes is sired by Peter Ehrlich, was the purest Appaloosa to be imported in South Africa during the 1970’s. His bloodlines included no quarter horses whatsoever, however, there was some Arab coming through on his dam’s side. The “Toby” foundation lines run strongly through Peter Ehrlich’s pedigree on both the maternal and paternal side. He was the typical Foundation type Appaloosa that is still sort after today. The one significant horse that Peter Ehrlich produced was Alpha Paleface – who successfully competed in open show-jumping & eventing and also jumped childrens A grade. He was awarded a Gold Medallion for his success in eventing and showjumping. Spot On Fire Eyes was one of Peter Ehlrich’s last foals prior to his death.

Spot On Fire Eyes is out of bay near leopard, Spot On Squaw who was sired by SA Foundation stallion, Middelpunt Kolbooi who made a huge impact on the Appaloosa in South Africa and produced many award winning foals such as Alpha El Paso, Rosyntjie & Middelpunt Rendez-vous to mention a few.

Spot On Fire Eyes is now here to stay....
