"Jet" as he is affectionately known by all who have met him, offers the full package from athletic ability to trainability, movement and conformation. Although, not the huge

well-sort Warmblood, this boy genetics packs a punch, stamping his foals with correct and dense limbs and exaggerated movement, perfect for the dressage/showing enthuisiast.Being homozygous for the LP gene, one is guaranteed Appaloosa Characteristics on 100% of his progeny. A firm favourite to use on solid and Non Appaloosa Mares,

"Jet" has been sold to the Keith Horan of Zanzibar Horse Club and will continue his stud & ridden career with his new owner!

Our decision to sell "JET" was not easy, we needed to make place for colts/stallion prospects that we could use on Jet's progeny, this has been achieved and we can now  continue his lineage at Lulus Appaloosa Stud through his foals.

Our Rockstar!

A breeding that we will never forget!

It certainly was a match made in heaven and only up until very recently, did we realise that by doing this breeding, we back to where it all started in 2005! This colt contains the bloodines that we started with BUT combined with the mare lines we always wanted and wished to breed with. By chance and surprise, we've managed to do a full circle and breed the sire and dam lines into one horse, but this time round, with the added bonus of height and better conformation.

Getting back to our original plan, we can now add his pedigree into our Drea Eagle's Dandy (USA) granddaughters, which was our aim since 2005. It's taken years to get this to this point, with many foals between with not nearly as close breeding as what our initial idea was, but here it all is, in one package! We certainly are blessed!.

Rockstar has all 3 of his mares successfully in foal for early 2024.

He has been sold to Tanzania. We trust he will be bring his new owner many years of super foals and let's not forgot about his babies to arrive at Lulus Appaloosa Stud to continue with his pedigree.

Sire: Caprica Waptastic Picasso

Dam: Sheza TT Wap Spot Jr (Imp. EUR)

AHBSSA Reg No: AHB 21/069 SP

DOB: 12 December 2021

Height: Still growing (to mature +/- 15.2hh)

Colour Testing (Animal Genetics US): Dun testing in progress

Besides his phenomenal pedigree, this colt offers it all in terms of conformation, movement, trainability and temperament. A sporty look in the body of a purebred Appaloosa, super length of rein, correct limbs, powerful hindquarters and elastic movement. His temperament matches his beauty with him being intently inquisitive of his surroundings and the task at hand and always willing to please, regardless of what is asked of him. He absolutely adores being faffed with, the more butt scratches and tummy rubs, the better!

We expect "Avo" to excel in all disciplines when of ridden age, for now, all the ground work and basics is firmly in place and have set a superb foundation for his future ridden career.

Whilst the quality of this colt is clearly evident in the photos, this is all thanks to superior genetics. Both sides of his pedigree offer champions in both the English and Western spheres, affording "Avo" a diversity of bloodlines that have not only proven themselves, but also produced show-stopping progeny, time and time again.

This can also be seen with handful of maternal siblings that his dam has produced in her very limited breeding career which have been shown and have made a remarkable impact already. Jenzo Waps Lasst Diplomat, who we also owned in his younger years, prior to being of ridden age, has always been in the placings at every show he has attended. Caprica Peru's Livingstone, another maternal half sibling of "Avo", was awarded 2022 Appaloosa Championships Reserve Champion of Champion Appaloosa Sport Horse, amongst various other accolades achieved as his young age.!

"Avo's" own dam, Sheza TT Wap Spot Jr (IMP), recieved ApHC honours in the 2005 Top Ten Year-End Finalist for Two Year Old Mares.

"Avo's" paternal half siblings have mostly been exported, along with their sire, Caprica Waptastic Picasso, but not prior to Picasso setting the standards high within our SA Appaloosa world. Following up to his highest earned achievement, 2019 SA Appaloosa of the Year award, he also trotted off with the following amongst many others:

2020 HOY - Champion Junior Appaloosa Colt,

2019 Appaloosa Champs - Supreme Grand Champion Male, Over-All Reserve Champion Appaloosa,

2019 - HOY - Reserve Junior Champion Appaloosa Colt.

Besides the above, Picasso hails from proven parentage himself.

Picasso was exported to Tanzania, prior to the commencement of his ridden career.

"Avo's" maternal grandsire, TT Mighty Junior (EUR), has an extensive, well achieved show record, too many to mention, view the link: TT Mighty Junior ( TT Mighty Junior's sire, TT Mighty Tango, a 5x European Champion, was also proven in the show ring, amongst numerous other awards his recieved.

And then lastly, the paternal granddam and maternal dam on both side of "Avo's" pedigree, Wap Ballet Slippers, is no less important. She was crowned Belgium Appaloosa National Champion and Belgium National Over-all Grand Champion in her short show career.

With a performance pedigree such as this, the sky is the limit for this young, upcoming colt, both in the breeding and ridden aspects of his life. He has huge boots to fill to prove his worth in the years to come, with an unmatched pedigree and conformation, this will certainly be achieveable.

"Avo" will take up stud duting in the beginning of 2024, with a covering sold already, only 2 are still available. Only live coverings are available that this time.
